The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
Part of our Intro to Tenkara session, autopen to anyone who would like to see and feel for themselves how Tenkara works. We‘ll have rods rigged for practice and learning for a first-timer or anyone interested in sharing Tenkara.

Join other women in our club and learn the ins and outs of fishing from a float tube. This is an on the water clinic for the Damsel‘s women‘s group and taught by women. There will be equipment available to use. If you decide to stay and fish after the clinic that opportunity is available. Don‘t forget your 2024 fishing license. There is a $5.00 parking fee and carpooling is recommended!

For those who know a little (or nothing) of Tenkara, we will go over exactly what you need to start catching trout (and other fish) with Tenkara fixed-line gear.

We‘ll have fun, get to know each other, and maybe even learn something. I have gear, if you don‘t, and even have a few "kebari" (flies) to help get you started. All registrants will receive a copy of the PPT deck for reference.

Sugar Pine Reservoir is a 165 acre lake at elevation 3,618 feet, located about 12 miles north of Foresthill, CA. It has several undeveloped campgrounds, boat launch and walking trails. It‘s open to all types of boats with speed limit of 10 mph. The lake is stocked with trout, and also has bass, bluegill and perch

Join the GCFF Fly Casting Mentors for a fly casting workshop for all fly casting levels. The workshop utilizes the FFI‘s Fly Casting Skills Development Program.
Open to all GCFF members.

This is a Damsels event. For bass and bluegill fly fishing on a large pond located on a member‘s private property just north of Auburn.
