SYRCL's Salmon Expeditions

"Salmon Expeditions is an outdoor education program run by South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) that aims to inspire the next generation of river stewards, biologists, anglers, and protectors of the Yuba River.

The program brings 3-5th grade students from Yuba and Nevada County to witness salmon spawning in the lower Yuba River. For the majority of our students, this is the first and only opportunity to float the Yuba RIver and see all the wildlife in this special ecosystem.

GCFF is proud to help with this wonderful experience for our local children. We are committed to help one of the local area schools that is not able to afford to send their kids to this event.
